Every Monday at 11am for the month of June, we will be hosting seniors!  Seniors Yoga is a very gentle series designed for adults in their 60’s, 70’s and 80’s who want to improve their activity levels, build strength, balance, mobility and range of motion. This class will include breath work, gentle stretching, a balancing sequence and relaxation.

Yoga classes are generally conducted on the floor or an exercise mat. For seniors who have limited mobility, the poses will be adapted to the chair. Suitable for seniors who have had no yoga experience or have had limited physical exercise recently.

Not only will we have yoga, but we will also be hosting tea at the studio afterwards! Tea will begin close to 12pm after the class has ended; students do not have to attend the class in order to attend tea.

    I would like this for 50’s as well. I attended a Centre in New West that is 50 plus and the Yoga class was like this.

      If you follow the link on the blog post it will take you to our schedule page (sometimes it takes a minute to load), once on the schedule page you can scroll to the class you would like to attend and click the sign up button.

      Also, if the above seems too complicated than you can also arrive 15 minutes before the class you wish to attend and the teacher at the studio will register you.
